- DV006 is a hand-made boot in calfskin
- The accents are made from rosewood, a tropical hard wood of the highest natural durability and resistance to decay. Our rosewood comes from a sustainable plantation. Each component is entirely hand-carved by some of the world’s best wood artisans from Java. The base curvature of each piece follows the natural angles of the foot and their various sizes are made in proportion to the size of the shoe
- The rosewood components are detachable. Because they are fixed just at the back and in the front through the laces, the components remain free for a comfortable walking
- DV006 is entirely lined in super soft calfskin leather
- Vanassibaras will never smell unpleasant. Our shoes are mounted on a breathable raw leather insole which naturally absorbs excessive sweat from the feet. That’s an old technique that only true luxury brands can afford
- The sole is actually hand-made too. It is made from blocks of cut, trimmed and sanded EVA, then mounted onto a rubber outer sole and finished up with a leather welt trim
- Calf is a relatively strong leather but like all leather products, they might become marked with wear and occasionally require maintenance
- We would advise against the use of any cleaning products containing solvents, which might affect the surface finishing on the leather
- Gently wipe the product with a soft damp cloth and allow to air dry away from direct heat
- Avoid contact with liquids containing alcohol or solvents, as this will cause irreversible damage to the surface of the leather
- Should be stored away from humidity and sources of heat
